THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made the Memphis To Moore fundraiser a huge success! The event raised over $34,000 in cash and in-kind donations for the Moore Public Schools Tornado Relief Fund. Because everything for the event was donated by our generous sponsors, every dollar spent on tickets and silent auction items is going straight to Moore.
Be sure to check out our event photos in the photo section. If you weren’t able to join us, it’s not too late to donate. Click here to donate now.

Less than a week after the Grizzlies played their final game against the Thunder, tragedy struck in the hometown of Thunder fans. On May 20th, Moore was hit by an F5 tornado that has devastated the community. In response, The Westin Memphis Beale Street partnered with RedRover Sales & Marketing, and Memphian & Moore-native Angela Copeland to raise funds for the Moore Public Schools Tornado Relief Fund.
The fundraiser was held on Friday, June 14th at the Westin Memphis ballroom. Live entertainment was provided by Grace Askew from NBC’s The Voice, and The Super 5. The Amurica photo was on site, so that guests could send positive messages back to the Moore community. Silent auction items will also be for sale. Guests enjoyed complimentary food provided by Bleu Restaurant & Lounge, free drinks, and free valet parking.
Funds raised go to the Moore Public Schools Tornado Relief Fund. Funds will aid students, families and staff of Moore Public Schools who were affected by the May 20th tornado. They will help remove obstacles that stand in the way of teachers being able to teach and children being able to learn by providing them the basic educational materials and support they need. This could include food, clothing, shelter, after school care, and school supplies.
